Networking?

I was wondering if anyone new any great places to network with people or any great networking events in the boston area?

Networking?
Two things:





1. The best way to network is giving; help people and you will build a huge and strong network.


People notice when you are in just for your own benefit.





2. "Hang around wealthy people, just their energy will help you make money" - Aristotle Onassis, Greek billionaire.





I don't know in which field you are, but probably you'll benefit from getting in contact with high paid doctors, so I'd be a volunteer at Brigham and Women's Hospital.





You'd have a chance to meet lots of wealthy people, either the hospital staff or some of the patients.





Unorthodox?


Networking is a contact sport and you gotta think out of the box; everyone and her grandma go to BNI these days.
