Can anyone suggest a good networking book that i could pick up locally? I'm looking for a book thats intergraded kinda shows history of networking over the years, how it was developed ect, who knows link me a documentation about it? If you don't know can you suggest a book on networking ports,i.p's and how everything works?

Reply:You can go for cert books but I also suggest a telecom dictionary type book that has a little bit on thousands of computer related items
