Hello,
I am from India and I am on the verge of completing my BCA (computer degree). I am interested in both software development and Linux systems administration and networking. But people's attitude seems to me to be that systems administration which seems to be known as nothing but networking in India, is a lowly job as compared to software development. I want to know how correct is this thinking and whether it would be wise for me to choose a systems administration/networking career or whether I should choose a software development career.
