Networking degree?

What degree should i get to be a network engineer/manager? i can't find any schools that have networking in california. they all have computer science and computer information systems.

Networking degree?
A degree? Computer Information Systems, BS. You will be more likely to find a job if your education is well rounded. Esp, if you want to be a manager!

If you're just looking for an associates or certificate... check your local community college! I'm sure they will offer tons of certs/aa degrees focused on networking alone.
Reply:Google for Computer Networking courses

You may want to start with a CCNA

But you will really need to have a much better understanding of basic computing before you start to specialise.
Reply:DeVry in Long Beach has an undergrad degree in Network and Communications Management. I'm sure a lot of the DeVry campuses in CA have that program, or something similar. I do network management for a living, and I'm going to school to do something else because I'm not happy in it.. Be sure to do your research about career opportunities in that field, and do it because you really like that kind of work, not just for money. Good luck.
