I'm having trouble networking 2 computers using the network places. I can get my Vista Home Premium laptop to print wirelessly and view/change files on my Windows XP Home Service Pack 2, but when I try to add a new network connection, in the HOME network, it finds the laptop, but then gives me an error message saying I don't have the approperiate rights or blank passwords arn't allowed or there are hour restrictions or the network place is unavailabe. The laptops hard drive is set to share but the share button is greyed out. What do I do?
Help needed networking computers!!!?
Is the laptop XP Pro? Open my Computer, go to Tools, Folder Options, View, Simplified Networking, I think it's under.
Reply:Use Network Magic to setup you network and see if you still have any problems:

Reply:When my dad and i set up a network between our 2 Vista Premium PCs we had to set up a password on each PC (the password to get into your user account) to be able to access each others files.
