To change your ip address go Start%26gt;Run%26gt;Type CMD%26gt;Type ipconfig /renew
If you are on about braodband, turning off your router and then switching it back on should renew your DHCP lease, unless it's static and fixed at the ISP.
The router method does not require your PC to be turned on.
