Networking?

If u have high speed internet and then u connect a phone line into the computer what would happen

Actually nothing would happen if you have set your default preferences properly.





I have 512Kbps DSL internet and use a phone line connected to my modem for faxing and sometimes for transferring sensitive data to my office. It's damn slow but its is the most secure way.
Reply:Nothing, necessarily, though you can force software to try to use the modem instead of the network interface.
