Networking Report Paper?

I have to do a paper in my cisco networking class. About anything related to networking. I'm not the bestw hen it comes to networking...so..if anyone could just give me a subject to do that's simple, but imformitive I'd appreciate it. I was thinking maybe setting up a wireless network? any ideas?

Networking Report Paper?
First, doing a paper for a networking class....Kinda old fashion. Nothing against you, but more against the instruction itself.





Networking for many years now.





Hum....If I were going to do a paper on something networking......Oh wait, I already wrote a few books :)





Seriously, just getting started is a great thing. Probably the most interesting thing about networking is how it got its start. Why and when did we first think about "networking"? If you really want to get hard core, go down to Nikola Tesla and see what he added to the "wireless" possibilites.

Reply:Well, what is the most common network situations these days? Business networks could have any number of configurations, but now, with home networking it becomes much less dense as there are only about less than a half dozen network solutions, and then they seldom are bridged, so they are extremely easy to configure. Especially with the current Connect Now technology.





Look in your syllabus and see what the instructor is focusing on the most, and choose one of those topics. Instructors tend to have certain favored areas of knowledge and if you can discover what this particular instructor enjoys tinkering with the most, and then write a report on it, you are bound to get a god grade, at least for effort. lol
