I have 2pcs one with a monitor one without can i connect them using usb cable even though i can only control one?and see one monitor?would the pc with the movitor dtetct the pc just by me switching both on?

If you jhave one monitor and two PC's and want to share the monitor. Get a KVM switch. This is a Keyboard, Video Mouse switch. It lets you control multplr PC's with a single Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor. You can switch between the PC's with it.
