Networking?

i have 2 computers but just an single cable of internet i have a wireless router also and also my both pc's have wireless lan card's.And i wana use internet in both computer but i have onlye 1 i.p so can any 1 tell me how do use net in both computers

If you have a wireless router, you're fine. That's the device that uses the IP. It has an external interface (WAN) and an internal interface (LAN). The WAN interface uses the IP assigned by your ISP and the LAN uses a private address like 192.168.1.1. (Your other computers can use 192.168.1.2-254)





However, if you have a wireless access point, you don't have the capacity to do this. You need to purchase a router, wireless or otherwise, to run network address translation (the setup described above).
Reply:On IP that you have from your Internet Service Provider will be assigned to the router. The router has a built-in DHCP that will supply to "local" IP addresses to the computers.
