Reply:Try Cisco's Packet Tracer. You can find it for free on the internet, just search for it. I believe the current version is 4.01 if you can get it. Packet Tracer lets you set up a network with different types of devices, different connections between devices, and completely configure each device. Once devices are configured, you can ping, etc to test connectivity just like in real world. It is fairly straight-forward to learn and use. I hope this helps.

Reply:You dont need software to network computers. They can be networked using wireless or wired through the router.
