Option for networking for windows along with unix (solaris)?

am new to networking can give idea and concept for my question.


am in a environemnt contains 20 computers, in that 10 computers are connected (networked) via ip address 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.0.10 with sun solaris networking concept and the remaining 10 computers are connected via 192.0.0.1 to 192.0.0.10 in windows network concept , now i want to connect (network) all 20 computers both solaris and windows networked computers what will be the better option / method for this environment. just give some basic idea

Re-IP your network. Sounds like you're using static IP addresses, so change them all to 192.168.0.0 through 192.168.0.19. (I'm not sure where you got the 192.0.0.1 through 192.0.0.10 - those are public internet addresses.) Before you network them, make sure they have unique computer names.





Next, make sure you have Samba loaded on your Solaris PCs. Samba is how the *nix world communicates with Windows. Once you have Samba configured properly on all the Solaris PCs, all computers should see each other on the network so you can share files/printers.
