me and my parther have laptops and we have a wireless router


but the router is not connected to any pc just the modem how can i make it so no one can use my internet

go to your internet browser and type the ip address of the


access point and log in you probably have default passwords


so you should change it, then go to security and use wep 128


and for encryption use hexadecimal and then you will get


a password automatically after you enter a passphrase, write


down that password and click on reset device , and you


should be good to go, and also since it is wep you should change your password every month, you can also set up wpa


it is more secure but too much hassle.
