Networking?

what is the job description for the role of a network manager.

What are the duties that would need to be performed to keep the network running efficiently.

Networking?
I believe you are looking for the role of a network administrator

Have a nice day !
Reply:Network managers manage the network engineers. Above him is the network engineering director and so on to the VP - depending on how the company's infrastructure is created. Duties include managing the engineers and pretty much do what any manager does. The network engineers are the ones who implement the configurations to switches, routers, firewalls (including policies), load balancers, security taps, etc...and yes, there are network administrators that handle all of these tasks on their own. But like the previous comment stated, it mainly depends on the company and how big their network is (example: ISP, LEC, Enterprise, etc...).
Reply:it varies depending on the company you work for. my title is network administrator but i basically troublshoot computers and printers. we DO have a network setup but i hardly need to mess with it unless we have a problem. so you can be a network administrator and hardly have to touch anything network related sort of a STANDBY kind of security guard but network security lol.
