I have connected my modem router to my main pc via a ethernet cable but everytime i try to connect it cant connect because the remote computer does not respond. Therefore i use a usb adapter to connect my main pc to the internet but the connection keeps disconnecting and connecting every 2 minutes. Although this is not a problem on my other pc where i use a usb adapter to connect to my wireless network and the connection stays on. So what might be the problem on my main pc because it has become really annoying. So please can someone help as it would be greatly appreciated.

you have a wireless telephone..must be interference from that or from a different source
