Networking?

if i have 2 comps and a wireless cable modem and wireless network adapters WUSB54G why would i still need a router or do i even need one? oh and the wireless cable modem is pluged into one of my comps alrdy. so my other comp has the USB adapter

If the 'modem' is wireless and you have wireless adapters (more than one), why is cable 'modem' plugged into a computer??





What I said before, you prob have a combo modem/router. LOOK AT IT. Does it have more than one port to plug computers into??? Like maybe 4?

Then you can go to the manufacturers website to learn how to set it up OR your ISP's (Internet Service Provider) web site.
