Networking?

hey, i have a D-Link Wireless router! i was just wondering is it possible to check which computers are accessing the network, and is it possible to kick people off the network (and i know that i can just put a password to stop them from going on the network, i just want to know how to kick them off and to see which computers are using it) thanks!

Networking?
I dont think there is a way to kick them of other than to reboot the router, wich kicks everyone off. To see who is connecting to your network I think that you will only get the MAC address and the Name of the computer which in most cases really doesnt help.
Reply:The only information you will get is an IP address, which since it it issued by your own router tells you nothing. You are running a serious risk not using encryption. First someone latching onto your connection can set up and send thousands of emails in about 30 seconds. If these are illegal (as in child porn) it is your door the authorities will break down (literally) as it traces back to your account. Second, every transmission you make is easily visible to anyone nearby with a wireless machine, they can see your user names, emails, sites visited and even any clear text passwords. Enough for total identity theft.
